In 2013 I came to LWS Marketing (then LWS Creative) on a three-month summer work experience placement. I had just completed my second year of university, where I was studying Digital Media Design, and wanted to gain industry experience.
The placement offered me a real insight into what it is like to work within a busy marketing agency. I was involved in a range of projects from social media, copywriting and design. I was even given the unique opportunity to take charge of my own project, working closely with the copy team and Creative Director to create promotional materials for a client.
At the end of my placement I knew that there was still so much left to learn, so I kept in touch with the team, hoping that I could come back and continue with the learning process.
Fast forward to 2014, I have now graduated from university with a First in Digital Media Design and am back at LWS Marketing on a six-month marketing assistant training contract. I’m really enjoying the fast-paced, supportive environment, where I am involved in the delivery of several clients’ digital marketing campaigns, including blogging, email marketing and social media.
